Formed in 2001, we are a bespoke, boutique-sized, New Orleans-based consultancy focused on management consulting, marketing, and communications.
We provide an intimate level of service, while partnering with an international network of resources to fully support clients on a global basis, solving strategic business challenges for both emerging and well-established B2B, B2C, and B2H companies and brands, across myriad industries, media, and non-profits.
We limit the number of clients we consult with, and staff our consultancy exclusively with senior executives.

Vendeloo is staffed entirely by seasoned professionals with over 30 years of experience. Founded in 2001 by Wendy E. Simmons, it is co-managed by Sara Ng.

Wendy Simmons has built a 30-year career in management consulting, marketing and communications, helping companies of all sizes, across nearly every industry, identify and solve strategic business challenges and grow revenue.
She founded Vendeloo in 2001 and has focused on developing and implementing comprehensive marketing and communications strategies, identifying and fostering strategic relationships, and advising senior management on overall business strategy.
Since June 2017, she has concurrently served as Vice President of Corporate Marketing for Vendeloo client, Collinear Networks, helping brand the company and globally launch the company’s first technology solution.
From August 2006 through August 2016, she concurrently served as President and Chief Brand & Marketing Officer of MOSCOT, also a Vendeloo client, during which time she evolved the company from a small, local family retailer with two Manhattan-based stores selling third-party products, into a renown, multimillion dollar, international fashion brand. She created the company’s brand identity, messaging and creative, and led all domestic and international marketing and communications efforts across all channels. In addition, she developed the domestic and international wholesale distribution networks, growing it to include over 1200 specialty stores in more than 60 countries, and six mono-branded MOSCOT retail shops, including three international locations.
Prior to forming Vendeloo, Wendy was Founder and President of Mindstorm Communications, a highly respected communications and marketing agency. Within two years, she grew Mindstorm to a team of 65 professionals and $7 million in annual revenue representing clients including Sony Electronics, Screaming Media, Cablevision, Silicon Graphics and Reebok, with offices in New York, San Francisco, Boston and Washington DC.
When Golin/Harris International, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Interpublic Group of Companies, acquired Mindstorm, Wendy served as Executive Vice President of the agency’s New York City office, leading the consumer and technology business-to-business practices, and serving as strategic counselor to key clients before leaving the agency to form Vendeloo.
Prior to starting Mindstorm, Wendy served as Senior Vice President at TSI Communications, one of the nation’s largest and most respected technology communications firms, where she led both the Sony and Business-to-Business account teams, representing close to 30% of TSI’s overall revenue. During her tenure at TSI, she tripled the Sony Electronics account to several million dollars per year and expanded the agency’s role to support all divisions of Sony Electronics including Sony Latin America. She also formed TSI’s Business-to-Business PR practice, and in less than three years, grew the practice to $2 million in revenue per year, working with nearly 40 companies in diverse areas of technology, both domestic and internationally.
Her first book, the best-selling, “My Holiday in North Korea; The Funniest Worst Place on Earth” was published on May 3, 2016 by RosettaBooks. Her writing has also been published in Travel & Leisure, Huffington Post, Travelandleisure.com, PopSugar, OnMogul, MSN, Yahoo, and other outlets.
Wendy is an intrepid and passionate world traveler who’s explored over 87 countries and counting. She chronicles her adventures on her blog http://wendysimmons.com. An award-winning photographer, her work has been the subject of solo and group shows in the U.S. and abroad and has been featured in media outlets worldwide.
She has also owned a bar in Manhattan, worked for a lobbying firm on Capitol Hill, written a Japanese-language phrase book, and taught reading and math to the “smart kids” at a private school. She has extensive public speaking experience, including national and local broadcast and radio appearances.
Wendy graduated Summa Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa from George Washington University (with semesters spent in Spain and Japan) with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and a focus on Asian Studies and Japanese. Her Japanese is now terrible, but her Pig Latin is flourishing.
Wendy practices Muay Thai, relishes adventures, and is addicted to renovating. After 25 years in New York City, she now calls New Orleans’ Garden District home. She is currently renovating.
With nearly ten years of experience in marketing and communications, gained primarily in beauty, fashion, television, and the non-profit sector, Sara is well versed in bringing brand stories to life.
Prior to joining Vendeloo, Sara served as the Marketing and Communications Manager at luxury eyewear brand, MOSCOT, where she helped lead global media relations, implement the brand’s now thriving social media platforms, and provide daily support to the company’s distribution partners and retailers worldwide.
In a previous life, Sara worked in television as a Global Marketing Executive, overseeing content distribution of fashion-related programming to notable networks and channels such as Fashion Television in Canada, TVB in Hong Kong, and SIC’s Women’s Channel in Portugal.
Hailing from Toronto, Canada, Sara graduated with Distinction from Ryerson University with a Bachelor of Design and a Minor in Marketing and has lived and worked abroad since 2007. As the former Chapter President and Vice Chair of two New York City-based non-profits, Sara remains committed to serving local communities. Ongoing personal projects include: returning to her first love, painting, developing a collection of stationery, learning to speak Mandarin, and perfecting her puff pastry recipe.
Linda Spelling is a 30-year hospitality industry veteran. Her results-driven, detail-focused approach has proven tremendously effective in producing comprehensive meetings for a wide array of companies, including several Fortune 500 entities.
She started her career practicing public relations for a number of New York agencies. While at one such firm, she branched out and created Ovation Studios, an events company that supported the company’s diverse client base.
Linda continued her work as a meeting specialist by serving for (15) years as the director of a boutique meeting planning agency based in New Jersey. While there, she managed and produced programs for clients including Johnson & Johnson, Pfizer and Quest Diagnostics. Then, in 2016 she launched her own corporate meeting company, Buzz, Inc. Linda works closely with clients to develop engaging, well-rounded programs, customized to suit their objectives.
When Linda is not producing meetings, she likes to write about them. In fact, she’s a frequent contributor to the “Best Practices” column in M&C Magazine.
